My 8th grade math teacher is wanting us to figure out how much longer you should wait to start downloading appsĀ . First I started calculating at 6:27 there was 24,658,507,655. Then at 6:28 there was 24,658,541,892. At 6:29 there was 24,658,576,918. At 6:30 there was 24,658,610,221. Then I subtracted the numbers from 6:30 to 6:29 which I got the number of 33,303. Next I subtracted the numbers from 6:29 to 6:28 and I got the number 35,026. I subtracted 6:28 from 6:27 which I got the number of 34,237. After that I added numbers up and got 102,566 and then divided it by three and got 34,188.66666666. Then I subtracted 25 billion and 24,658,610,221 and got 341,389,779. I then divided that by the average of 33,800 and got 10,100 minutes left to go. Then I divided 10,100 by 60 and I got 168 hours left. Then if you divide that number by 24 it gives you the number of 7 days left to download apps to be the 25 billion person to win. It would take us to March 3rd at 6:27pm. So I would start downloading around 6 o’clock to 6:17pm on Monday March 3rd.
